Saluting Our Troops: A Veterans Day of Free Dentistry
At Jackson Family Dentistry, we believe gratitude deserves action. This Veterans Day season, we’re opening our doors — and our hearts — to the men and women who have bravely served our country.
On Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., we’ll be providing free same-day dental care to U.S. veterans as our way of saying thank you. It’s a small gesture for those who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms.

A Day to Serve Those Who Served
This special event is dedicated to giving back through compassionate care and respect.
- Appointments with our dentist include exams, x-rays, fillings, and simple extractions (depending on case type).
- Appointments with our dental hygienists include routine and deep cleanings to help restore and maintain healthy smiles.
Appointments are required, and all services will be provided on a first-appointment, first-served basis once registration and required paperwork are complete.
How to Register

- Complete and return all required paperwork no later than two (2) days before the event.
- If paperwork isn’t received by the deadline, your appointment may be released to a veteran on our waiting list.

Veterans Day Free Dentistry is in Downers Grove, Illinois
Our Veterans Day free dentistry event is designed to make it easier for local veterans to receive needed dental care in a welcoming, respectful setting. Jackson Family Dentistry is proud to serve veterans from Downers Grove and surrounding communities during this special annual event.
Whether it has been a while since your last dental visit or you have a specific concern that needs attention, our team will help evaluate your needs and discuss what can be completed during your scheduled appointment. Services available during the event may include dental exams, x-rays, fillings, simple extractions, routine cleanings, and deep cleanings, depending on the type of appointment you select and your individual dental needs.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
When you arrive, our team will review your completed paperwork and check you in for your scheduled visit. All required paperwork must be completed and returned no later than two (2) days before your scheduled dental appointment. This allows our team time to review your information and prepare for your visit.
Patients scheduled with the dentist may be evaluated for exams, x-rays, fillings, or simple extractions when appropriate. Patients scheduled with a dental hygienist may receive a routine cleaning or deep cleaning based on their individual needs.
Because this is a special event with limited appointment times, not every treatment can be completed during a single visit. The care provided will depend on your examination, the type of appointment scheduled, the complexity of treatment, and the time available.
