Q: How long will the whitening last?

A: Typically lasts 6 to 12 months. However, longevity could be shorter or longer depending on the patient’s lifestyle and eating habits. Smoking, coffee & wine drinking are two examples of how whitening may not last as long. Anything that would stain a white t-shirt will stain teeth and lessen the effects of the whitening procedure.

Q: If I have sensitivity in my tooth or gum. Should I have the service completed?

A: No. If you experience tooth or gum sensitivity on a regular basis without any whitening products, we recommend you stay away from in-office whitening. Whitening can be painful for patients with high levels of sensitivity. For those patients, we recommend patients try a take-home whitening tray or pre-loaded trays.

Q: What if I have a lot of dental cavities and/or broken teeth?

A: Teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure. We always recommend that patients complete their necessary dental treatment, such as decay removal and tooth repair, prior to tooth whitening.

Q: How old do I have to be for the Spring Whitening Special?

A: 18+ years old, or 16 to 17 years old, with a parent present to sign the contact form.

Q: Who will be performing the procedure?

A: Our qualified Dental Assistants complete the procedures.

Q: What if I don’t like my results? Can I get a refund?

A: No. All sales are final. Patients are given Opalescence Go Mini Kits (preloaded whitening trays) for at-home touch-ups. No touch-ups are performed in our office after the initial in-office whitening.

Q: What if I decide to stop at some point during the procedure for any reason? Will I get a partial refund?

A: Patients are welcome to stop at any time during the procedure. All sales are final, and no refunds are given once a whitening kit has been opened and activated within the office.

Q: Do I have to be a patient of Jackson Family Dentistry to be eligible for the Spring Whitening Special?

A: No, you do not have to be a patient of record.
